Privacy Policy
What we collect, which is very little, and what we do with it, which is less.
The short version
Bealsfeen is a reading site. It does not sell anything, does not run accounts, and collects the minimum it needs to stay online. Nothing gathered here is ever sold, rented or traded.
What is collected
Our server keeps standard request logs — the page requested, the time, a truncated network address, the browser identifier and the referring page — which exist so we can spot faults and abuse. They are kept briefly and then discarded.
If you email us, we hold that message and your address for as long as it takes to deal with the matter, and then it goes.
Cookies and measurement
We set no advertising or tracking cookies. If aggregate traffic measurement is in use, it is configured to count visits without building a profile of an individual reader, and no data is shared with advertising networks.
Third parties
Web fonts are loaded from an external font service, which means that provider sees a request from your browser. That is the only routine third-party call the site makes. Links out to hotel websites lead to companies with their own policies, which we do not control.
Your choices
You can block cookies and scripts in your browser and the site will still work. To ask what we hold about you, or to have an email exchange deleted, write to editor@bealsfeen.com and we will act on it.

If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page.
